Starting something new can feel intimidating, especially when it comes to self-defence. That's why our classes are designed to help you progress at your own pace in a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone was once a beginner.

Through realistic Krav Maga training, you'll learn practical self-defence skills while developing the confidence to act under pressure. Our goal is to help you overcome the instinct to freeze, improve your awareness, trust your judgement, and feel more capable of protecting yourself and the people around you. As your skills grow, so will your self-esteem, resilience, and sense of personal safety.

Every class combines realistic self-defence techniques with dynamic drills and interactive exercises that improve coordination, decision-making, communication, and assertiveness.

We also discuss common real-life situations, helping you understand not only how to respond effectively, but also what is a safe, reasonable, and proportionate response.

You can choose to begin with a few private one-to-one sessions. These sessions allow you to become familiar with the fundamentals, the training environment, and the class structure, making your first group lesson feel much more comfortable and enjoyable.

What makes our club special is the people. We train hard, support one another, and celebrate each other's progress. Whatever you're age, whether you are naturally athletic or completely new to fitness, you'll find a friendly community that encourages you every step of the way. Before long, you'll not only gain valuable self-defence skills - you'll gain confidence, resilience, and friendships that extend beyond the training floor.

FAQ

Will I progress if I attend only 1 class a week?

The class and techniques in Krav Maga often build on each other. What you learn each week will often be reviewed while new skills are added. Building a strong foundation is essential and the progression is gradual. You are encouraged to practice independently over the week. The more you practice independently the faster you will progress.

Do I need any fitness or training experience to train Krav Maga?

No, you do not need experience in martial arts or fitness to start learning Krav Maga. We often have beginners and work with different levels and abilities.

Is it suitable for females or people of different ages or people who haven't trained?

Yes. Krav Maga is highly adaptable and suitable for people from different age groups or training skills. Females can find Krav Maga to be highly effective in building self-confidence and personal sense of empowerment.

Can I come for one trial training session before I commit to the 3 months plan?

Of course, you can come and have a taster session. Kindly get in touch to book your place and enquire about availability and price.

What do I wear and bring for my first training session?

For your first session you only need to wear comfortable training clothes, bring a bottle of water and a towel. We train barefoot or wearing socks on our mats. For outdoor training we use normal training shoes.

Do you have uniforms and grading of levels?

Yes, we have IKMF formal uniforms that each student can purchase. The grading is also done according to the official IKMF standards. Successful pass gives you an internationally recognised certificate and an IKMF passport.

If I train other martial arts can I also learn Krav Maga?

Absolutely. Krav Maga will give you a different perspective and add to your skills set.

Is gear required for training or sparring?

Yes, we use training gear, such as shin pads, training gloves, mouth/groin and head guards etc. These are not required at the very start. You will be recommended the type of gear you will need according to your level.
